Hulu raises Keshet’s False Flag

False Flag made its debut during 2015’s Berlinale Special

SVoD service Hulu has acquired exclusive US streaming rights to Israeli distributor Keshet International’s False Flag.

The deal was for the espionage thriller, which sees five ordinary citizens implicated in a high-profile kidnapping, was negotiated by Keshet senior sales manager Rose Hughes.

False Flag was created by Amit Cohen and Maria Feldman and produced by Tender Productions. The show joins Keshet’s Hebrew-language drama Prisoner of War – adapted for US audiences as Homeland – on Hulu.

Feldman devised the in-production second season with Leora Kamenetzky, with Masha TV producing and Oded Ruskin directing both seasons.

False Flag has been attracting international attention since its global debut as one of eight international dramas screened as part of 2015’s Berlinale Special.
