Hulu plants Mr Bean toon

Hulu has acquired the exclusive US VoD rights to Mr Bean: The Animated Series, produced by Endemol Shine-owned Tiger Aspect Productions.

The deal, between Hulu and Endemol Shine International, will make seasons one and two, both 52×11′, available via Hulu’s subscription service.

Featuring the voice of Rowan Atkinson, who first appeared on UK TV as the hapless Mr Bean 25 years ago, the animated series airs on CiTV in the UK and has been sold in more than 70 territories.

It follows the daily trials and tribulations of the character and his best friend Teddy as he stumbles from one mishap to the next, always finding complex solutions to the simplest of problems.
