Hulu opens up Page Six TV

Page Six TV offers gossip and news

Hulu in the US has acquired rights to the New York Post’s nationally syndicated daily pop culture show Page Six TV from Endemol Shine North America.

The service will begin streaming the show today and will add new episodes the day after they broadcast in the US, where it launched in September in more than 200 local markets.

Based on the iconic gossip column of the same name, Page Six TV covers gossip and news from entertainment, culture, the media, finance, real estate and politics.

It is hosted by VH1’s John Fugelsang, while pundits include Mario Cantone (The View), Bevy Smith (Fashion Queens) and New York Post Page Six’s Emily Smith, Ian Mohr and Carlos Greer.

The show has been sold into more than 98% of the country for its first season by Twentieth Television and is broadcast daily on Fox Television Stations in 16 markets, including New York, LA and Chicago.
