Hulu, Discovery pick up Bad Habits

Bad Habits, Holy Orders was first made for the UK’s Channel 5

Disney-owned US streamer Hulu has picked up docu-reality series Bad Habits, Holy Orders from Keshet International, while Discovery in Italy has acquired local adaptation rights to the format.

Originally produced by Crackit Productions for Channel 5 in the UK, Bad Habits, Holy Orders (4×45’) sees a Catholic convent take in five raucous, selfie-obsessed party girls in a bid to show them a more spiritual path.

Hulu has acquired the exclusive VoD rights to the finished tape of the series in the US, while Discovery in Italy has commissioned Fremantle to produce a local version for its streaming platform and linear channel.

Discovery has also picked up the finished tape of the format, as have SBS in Belgium, DR in Denmark, Nelonen Media in Finland, NPO in the Netherlands for its Christian channel EO, Poland’s TVN and New Zealand’s TVNZ.

NPO and SBS have already aired local adaptations of the show.
