Hulu closes East Los High

US streamer Hulu is bringing the curtain down on original drama East Los High after four seasons and will end the show with a one-off special.

Original show East Los High reached its fourth season on Hulu

East Los High: Finale Event (1×60′) will premiere in the fall and picks up the story eight months after the show’s fourth-season finale.

The series, from US prodco Wise Entertainment, debuted in 2013 and was created by Kathleen Bedoya and Carlos Portugal. The finale will be directed by Katie Elmore Mota and Carlos Reza and written by Bedoya, Luisa Leschin and Cris Franco.

Last year US-based distributor Dynamic Television acquired worldwide rights to the show outside the US.
