Horrid Henry arrives on Nick UK, Ireland

Nickelodeon in the UK and Ireland has acquired all five seasons of Novel Entertainment’s animated series Horrid Henry, totalling 250 episodes.

Horrid Henry has been sold into more than 90 territories

The show will launch on Nickelodeon on May 28 with a seven-day themed takeover during the UK’s school half-term holidays before becoming a fixed part of the channel schedule.

Meanwhile, a new season of 42×11′ episodes is currently in production and will be broadcast on Nicktoons in 2019 alongside shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Loud House and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Horrid Henry television series is based on characters created by author Francesca Simon and has been produced by Novel since 2006.

The show has been sold into more than 90 territories, with broadcasters including ABC (Australia), RTÉ (Ireland), Mediacorp (Singapore), Gulli (France), NRK (Norway), Hulu (US), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland), RTP (Portugal), TVP1 (Poland) and Al Jazeerah (Middle East).
