Hollywood Suite names distribution boss

Canadian movie broadcaster Hollywood Suite has appointed a new head of content distribution.

Julie Kumaria has been promoted to VP of marketing and content distribution after a stint as senior director of marketing.

She now takes on the additional role of content distribution, overseeing relationships with the company’s cable, IPTV and satellite partners.

The exec most recently oversaw the relaunch of Hollywood Suite, as well as marketing strategies to support the channel’s current national free preview. She joined the company in 2013.
