History identifies UFO investigation series

History in the US has ordered an unscripted series that features the former head of a hidden government programme exploring cases of possible UFO encounters.

Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation (6×60′) is being produced in-house by History parent A+E and delves into the mysterious work of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.

The show features interviews with Luis Elizondo, the former agent in charge of the division, whose work was revealed in December 2017 by The New York Times.

Elizondo appears with Tom DeLonge, co-founder and president of To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, and Chris Mellon, former deputy assistant secretary of defense and intelligence, to explore a series of encounters and embark on new investigations.
