HBO Europe preps lockdown anthology

HBO Europe is preparing a Spanish anthology series from directors who currently find themselves in isolation because of the coronavirus pandemic.

En Casa (At Home) will comprise five episodes produced by five different directors entirely from their homes. The creatives will use basic equipment, with the instalments able to feature only those they are in isolation with.

Leticia Dolera (Perfect life, Requirements to be a Normal Person), Rodrigo Sorogoyen (Mother, The Candidate, May God Forgive Us), Paula Ortiz (The Bride, Chrysalis), Carlos Marqués-Marcet (The Days to Come, Anchor & Hope, 10,000 km) and Elena Martín (Julia ist) are the directors who have board the series, with each episode examining the situation created by Covid-19 crisis.

At Home, which is scheduled to be made available in Spain in the next few weeks and other HBO Europe territories at a later date, has been created exclusively for HBO Europe by Warner Bros Itvp España in collaboration with local prodco Caballo Films.

The series will span a number of genres, with each episode expected to be approximately 15 minutes long.
