Gusto names Goldstein as COO

Canadian culinary content producer Gusto Worldwide Media (GWM) has appointed industry veteran David Goldstein as its new chief operation officer.

Goldstein joins GWM on November 4 to work on the company’s push into new international territories as well as overseeing internal operations.

Goldstein, who has almost three decades of industry experience under his belt, previously served as a senior executive at CHUM and Bell Media, and most recently served as CEO of Destination Canada, the country’s tourism body.

While at Destination Canada, Goldstein transformed the company from a traditional marketing board to a producer and distributor of content. He oversaw multichannel marketing and sales campaigns in 13 international markets.

Chris Knight, president and CEO of GWM, said: “2020 is going to be our biggest year yet. I’m looking forward to working with David and bringing Gusto to more markets around the world.”
