Guru Studio, ADK link for action toon

Serialised action-adventure series The Ora Chronicles

Guru Studio in Canada has signed a co-development deal with Japan-based Beyblade owner ADK Emotions for a new serialised action-adventure series for kids.

The Ora Chronicles (working title) will target six- to 11-year-olds with the story of five very different middle-school girls whose shared destiny is to defeat a great evil within the Earth’s core.

Guru Studio will manage international distribution with ADK Emotions handling Asia Pacific in addition to all merchandising and licensing rights.

The show joins Guru’s roster of originals that also includes Pikwik Pack, Big Blue and the Netflix series True & the Rainbow Kingdom.

ADK Emotions was established in January 2019 as part of ADK Group in order to focus on original IP creation, overseas development and new digital ventures.

It has been involved in producing animation titles such as Doraemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, as well as providing its services to numerous animation titles such as One Piece.

Beyblade and B-Daman were added to its roster via the acquisition of anime company D-Rights last year.
