GRB names int’l sales exec

US producer and distributor GRB Entertainment has appointed a new senior VP of international distribution.

Mike Lolato was previously MD at Canamedia and has 20 years experience in the entertainment business, including stints at Astral Television and Chum Television.

Lolato joins GRB ahead of next month’s MipTV, where the company will be looking to acquire new titles.

The company’s current Mip slate includes: Remembering Whitney (1×60’), a Lifetime USA doc celebrating the singer’s legacy; BBQ Pitmasters (39×60’), the Destination America competition barbecuing series; and How Booze Built America, featuring Mike Rowe (3×60’), for Discovery USA.
