Gravitas Movies to land on Pluto TV

US-based OTT service Pluto TV has partnered with digital distribution specialist Gravitas Ventures to launch a channel based on the latter’s content.

Gravitas Movies will feature Gravitas Ventures’ complete catalogue of more than 2,000 titles and 5,000 hours of entertainment.

This includes musician Dave Grohl’s Sound City documentary, comedy/horror movie Hell Baby and crime drama Perfect Sisters.

“Gravitas Movies will satisfy viewers seeking cutting-edge documentaries, indie films making the festival circuit and feature-length movies you want to see in theatres,” said Tom Ryan, CEO of Pluto TV.

Pluto TV last year raised US$30m from investors including ProSiebenSat.1 in Germany and Scripps Networks Interactive in the US.
