GoQuest takes Indiscreet Call

The Indiscreet Call is a street-based gameshow

MIPCOM: Mumbai-based GoQuest Formats has picked up distribution rights to a gameshow from Spain’s Mandarina Productions.

The deal for The Indiscreet Call (65×35’) gives GoQuest exclusive worldwide rights to sell the format outside of Spain, Portugal and Italy.

The street-based gameshow was created and produced by Mandarina Productions. It sees contestants win money by being tested on their knowledge of people selected from their mobile phone contacts.

The agreement was struck by Jimmy George, VP of sales and acquisitions for GoQuest Formats, and Gloria Saló, Mandarina Productions’ head of international markets.

GoQuest Formats is part of India’s GoQuest Media Ventures, an expanding one-stop shop for content creation, production and distribution, with operations across emerging markets including South-East Asia, South Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Earlier this year, GoQuest picked up sales rights to dance format My Dance Crew, created by Norwegian broadcaster TV2 and Nordic advertising agency ANTI.
