Golden age for Dance Revolution

Dance Revolution heads for Poland

Polish prodco Golden Media Polska has picked up the dance competition format Dance Revolution from ITV-owned distributor Armoza Formats.

Dance Revolution (22×90’) sees dancers compete and judged with a 360º shot of their most spectacular move – their Revolution moment. Dancers will progress through a number of stages before four finalists compete for the US$100,000 prize.

The Polish version follows the Russian adaptation announced at this year’s Mipcom which is set to air on broadcaster Channel 1. A Chinese version of the format is currently airing on Hunan TV.

The Canadian format, originally produced by Québecor Content and Fair-Play, first launched on Canada’s TVA as Révolution last year.

The show was recently revealed to be a Rose d’Or finalist in the studio entertainment category.
