Globo raises curtain on Rock Story

Rock Story attracted 37 million viewers in Brazil

Brazilian TV giant Globo is using Mipcom to launch a drama about a former rock star looking to turn his life around.

Rock Story, produced in-house and written by Maria Helena Nascimento, follows the choices the musician faces in his quest to climb back to the top.

Globo said the show brought in a daily average of more than 37 million viewers, equating to a 44% audience share, when it aired in Brazil.
