Globo exec to head Planeta Jr content

European kids producer and distributor Planeta Junior has hired the former lead at Brazilian broadcaster Globo’s children’s channels to lead its content drive.

Paula Taborda dos Guaranys is joining Planeta Junior as director of content, leading the creation of a content portfolio through coproductions, originals and acquisitions.

Taborda dos Guaranys was previously the creative and business mind behind Globo Group’s children’s channels. She was responsible for closing several copro agreements, including Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Paper Port, Trulli Tales, Denver, Power Players, Alice & Lewis and Dronix.

She will report to international commercial director Diego Ibáñez.
