Global Agency picks up FX’s Aleph

Eight-part limited crime series Aleph

Turkish distributor Global Agency has acquired international sales rights to crime series Aleph.

Directed by Emin Alper and produced by MAY Productions, Aleph premiered on FX in Turkey and streaming service BluTV earlier this year.

The eight-part limited series revolves around two detectives as they investigate a set of murders in Istanbul.

Izzet Pinto, founder and CEO of Global Agency, said: “Aleph is the first ever collaboration between FX and BluTV and we are very happy to be partnering with them.

“Its premiere on FX delivered six times higher viewership than the channel’s primetime average. Furthermore, BluTV has seen a significant upsurge in its membership subscription during the series premiere.”
