Giant Wheel rolls into Cannes

An Anglo-Indian CGI animation company is making its Mipcom debut with a new preschool property about a little girl and magical garden adventures.

Giant Wheel Animation’s production Lily & Friends (52×11′) follows a loving and friendly little girl with a curious mind as she explores a garden full of fairies and ‘rain messengers’.

Episodes are set to be directed by Clark Irving, who previously worked on Disney XD’s Marvo the Wonder Chicken.

The prodco develops original IP, character designs and storyboards out of its London base, while its Indian studio focuses on servicing projects, both for Giant Wheel’s own properties and other clients.

These include the upcoming production of Taka & Maka (40×1′), recently picked up by Atlantyca Entertainment for international distribution, while clients include Cartoon Network, for whom Giant Wheel worked on the recent toon Dear Dracula.
