French DTT channel Direct 8 has acquired ITV Germany’s crime series The Last Cop via distributor SevenOne International.
The Last Cop (aka Mick Brisgau), from ITV Studios’ Granada Produktion, is about a policeman in 1980s Germany who is injured during a mission and falls into a coma, waking up 17 years later.
The series, which has been on air for the past three years, has just begun its third season on Sat.1 in Germany and will debut in France on Group Bolloré-owned Direct 8 on March 5.
