GBI adds finance controller

NEWS BRIEF: US children’s content firm Genius Brands International (GBI) has named Matthew Kornberg as controller, reporting to chairman and CEO Andy Heyward and president Amy Moynihan Heyward.

Kornberg will now oversee the financial unit of toddler- and tween-focused GBI, which recently extended distribution of its preschool content via an online streaming service and a deal with Comcast.
