FYI hires two development execs

The restructure of the executive teams at A+E Networks’ FYI and LMN channels continues apace, with two new VPs of development and programming coming on board.

Liz Fine and James Bolosh have both been handed the positions with the fledgling FYI lifestyle network, which replaced Bio in December.

The appointments were made by FYI and LMN president Jana Bennett, the former president of BBC Worldwide Networks and global BBC iPlayer who joined A+E in June last year.

Fine was previously co-executive producer for Atlas Media Corp and Left Right, where she worked on doc series Mob Wives among other programmes. She also helped format Parking Wars, which ran for seven season of A&E and worked on series including Chopped, A Wedding Story and The City.

Bolosh joins FYI with previous stints at HGTV, MTV, VH1 and CNBC under his belt. He developed series including House Hunters International for HGTV, FriendZone for MTV and Driven for VH1.

He most recently oversaw the development and production of business makeover show The Profit for CNBC’s alternative programming block in primetime.

Both will report to Gena McCarthy, senior VP of programming at FYI, who moved from Lifetime to take up the position with FYI in September.

Earlier this month, Bennett promoted Thomas Moody to senior VP of programming, planning and acquisitions for LMN and FYI, and Laura Fleury to VP of programming and development for LMN, as she continues to build her executive team.
