FYI embarks on Ultimate Rides

Ultimate Rides centres on unusual vehicles

A+E Networks-owned US cablenet FYI is launching a series as part of its Drive enthusiasts’ block which tracks down the best and most unusual vehicles in the world.

Ultimate Rides (20×30′) features a wide range of vehicles, from a jet-powered Amish buggy to an underwater convertible. It is coproduced by FYI, London-based factual indie Barcroft Studios and UK distributor TCB Media Rights.

TCB will distribute the series in all territories outside the US and will launch it at Mipcom next week.

Exec producing are Sam Barcroft, Alex Morris and Peter Wyles for Barcroft, Jordan Harman and Christian Murphy for A&E and Paul Heaney for TCB.
