Fulwell hires ex-Sky exec as COO

London- and LA-based indie Fulwell 73 has hired a former executive at European satcaster Sky as its chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Johnny Moore is joining the firm’s North London office reporting to managing partner Leo Pearlman and will be responsible for the company’s financial and operational performance.

Fulwell 73’s expanding slate of shows includes break-out feature doc hit Bros: After The Screaming tops, Netflix sports doc series Sunderland ‘Till I Die and James Corden-fronted The Late Late Show and Carpool Karaoke.

Moore joins Fulwell from his most recent role as COO at VFX and creative content studios The Mill, where he was responsible for driving trading and operation performance as well as managing technology, operations and commercial teams across the business.

Before that Moore spent more than 20 years at Sky, where as director of operations, he was instrumental in helping scale streaming business NOW TV.

The company was set up in 2005 by lifelong friends Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner. In March 2017, James Corden joined the company as a fifth full partner.
