Andy Forssell, who left Hulu in 2013 having led its push into original programming, most recently served as CEO of social video app ShowYou.

As COO, Forssell will oversee day-to-day operations at the company, reporting to CEO and founder George Strompolos.

Fullscreen was launched in 2011 by Strompolos, the former YouTube strategic partners development executive, and was acquired by telecoms giant AT&T and The Chernin Group in 2014.

In September it hired former MTV VP of scripted series development Polly Aurit and AwesomenessTV’s director of development Kate Chen to head scripted and unscripted programming respectively.
