FuboTV scores FX, AMC dramas

FX shows like Atlanta will be available to FuboTV subscribers

Sports-focused streaming service FuboTV is expanding its live TV offering via deals with FX Networks and AMC Networks.

The arrangement will allow FuboTV subscribers to watch programming from FX Networks’ on-demand service FX+, with shows including American Horror Story, Atlanta, Fargo and Snowfall all available.

The addition will cost users US$5.99 per month, with FX+ offering commercial-free access to 127 seasons of 37 original FX Networks series.

FuboTV is also partnering with AMC Networks to offer its AMC Premiere service for an additional US$4.99 a month.

Subscribers will see full seasons of AMC shows such as The Walking Dead commercial-free and will also get access to bonus scenes, extended episodes and early-release episodes and clips.

FuboTV, whose basic package costs US$44.99 per month, already offers access to more than 30,000 sporting events per year and more than 12,000 TV series and movies on-demand.

The company launched in 2015 and has raised more than US$150m, with backers including AMC Networks, European pay operator Sky and 21st Century Fox, which is selling FX to Disney.
