The Fastest Way initiative was revealed late last year and is designed to bring international formats to the Dutch market, with the two shows launching on Talpa’s SBS6 next year.

Pitch the Dish is a daily cooking format that requires contestants to pitch their dishes before cooking them and has been devised by WeMake in France.

Reality format Home Alone follows children who must live alone for a weekend while their parents watch away from the house. WeMake worked with fellow French prodco Med&Co on the show.

Talpa Network’s Lisette van Diepen, who heads Fastest Way to Screen, said new third-party deals would be announced soon. Talpa Global holds worldwide distribution rights to the formats.

Fastest Way to Screen was launched to enable third-party creatives to work with Talpa Network and see their IP launch on Dutch terrestrial channels SBS6, Net5, Veronica and SBS9.

Talpa Network functions separately from Talpa Media Group, which is part of ITV Studios and creates, produces and distributes formats such as The Voice.
