FremantleMedia hires Corus alum in Canada

Global distributor FremantleMedia International (FMI) has appointed a former Corus Entertainment manager to its Canadian sales and distribution team.

Felicia Litovitz

Felicia Litovitz, who has joined FMI Canada as director of sales and distribution, will be responsible for FMI’s 20,000-hour programming catalogue in both English- and French-speaking regions of the country.

Prior to joining FMI, Litovitz was content acquisitions manager at Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment, where she acquired TV programming and films for the company’s 45 specialty channels.

Before Corus, she was programming manager at the Canadian branch of content service provider Spafax.

Litovitz’s appointment is the latest in FMI Canada’s distribution ramp-up which saw Michela Di Mondo promoted to senior VP, sales and distribution earlier this year.

“Felicia has a fantastic track record and a great in-depth understanding of the region, which makes her a strong addition to FMI,” Di Mondo said. “She will be instrumental in developing our strategy as we expand our operation in Canada.”

FMI recently acquired the rights to environmental documentary Wasted! The Story of Food Waste from US prodco Zero Point Zero.
