France TV, TVE spot Fire in the Ocean

Atlantic: Fire in the Ocean has already gone to Smithsonian Channel

France Télévisions, Spain’s TVE and Italian pubcaster Rai are among the international broadcasters to have picked up natural history documentary Atlantic: Fire in the Ocean.

The doc is produced by London-based Warehouse 51 Productions and was previously picked up by US cablenet Smithsonian Channel.

Distributor Bomanbridge Media sealed deals with PPTV in Thailand and KBS in South Korea recently, as well as the three European broadcasters.

The doc looks at a vast chain of volcanic mountains that make up the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and occasionally erupt to create new islands.
