Fox partners Propagate on unscripted sales

The US version of The Masked Singer

MIPCOM: Fox Entertainment has named LA-based Propagate as its international distribution partner, with a remit to sell its unscripted programming and formats worldwide.

Propagate, led by co-CEOs Ben Silverman and Howard Owens, will lead programme sales and format rights outside the US and Canada for a range of titles, including unscripted summer series such as First Responders Live and competition series Ultimate Tag.

The deal also includes rights to the US version of entertainment series The Masked Singer.

Amy Carney, chief operating officer of Fox Entertainment, said: “Ben, Howard and their entire team have such a thorough understanding of the overseas market. It was important for us to find a partner that shared our entrepreneurial spirit, and we are excited to move forward.”
