Fox orders season two of Mental Samurai

Quiz show Mental Samurai

Fox Entertainment has ordered a second season of the Rob Lowe-fronted quiz show Mental Samurai.

The competition sees contestants board a spinning mechanism as they progress through a series of trivia rounds and challenges in the hope of winning the US$100,000 prize.

Mental Samurai is produced by Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, A Smith & Co Productions and Apploff Entertainment. Arthur Smith, Mike Darnell, Jeff Apploff, Noah Bonnett and Brooke Karzen serve as executive producers, while Lowe features as a producer. The show was created by Smith and Darnell.

Since its debut in 2019, the format has produced multiple seasons in several territories around the world, including Portuguese and Middle Eastern adaptations.
