Fox renews Duncanville for second season

Duncanville is animated by Bento Box Entertainment

US broadcast network Fox has renewed new animated comedy Duncanville for a second season following the show’s premiere in February.

Co-created by Amy Poehler (Parks & Recreation) and married duo Mike and Julie Scully (The Simpsons), the first season of Duncanville debuted on Fox on February 16.

According to the network’s parent, Fox Entertainment, the sitcom is Fox’s most streamed comedy this season, while its premiere is its most streamed animated debut on record.

Duncanville follows a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy named Duncan with a rich fantasy life. The second season will air during 2021/22.

Poehler and the Scullys exec produce the series with Dave Becky. 20th Century Fox Television, Universal Television and Fox Entertainment produce, with animation provided by Bento Box Entertainment (Bob’s Burgers).
