Fox 21, Spacey enter White House

Kevin Spacey in Netflix hit House of Cards

Fox 21 Television Studios and Hollywood A-lister Kevin Spacey are linking up to produce a TV drama adaptation of a best-selling non-fiction book about life at the White House.

The Residence, by Kate Andersen Brower, explores the relationships between the different parts of White House staff under various US presidents.

Spacey and Dana Brunetti, who both work on Netflix’s White House drama House of Cards, will exec produce through Trigger Street Productions. Andersen Brower will consult on development and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly will co-exec produce.

A writer is now being sought and the project is set to be pitched to networks over the coming months.
