Flame brings Australia to Cannes

Australia’s Flame Distribution is set to launch over 240 hours of new content at MipTV next month, including an adventure series that sees young Aussies explore their country.

Prospero Productions’ Only in Australia follows four young Aussies

Only in Australia is from Prospero Productions and follows four young Australians as they criss-cross the world’s only island continent to discover what makes the country so unusual.

Wildlife series The Cat Report, from WildEarth TV, follows the intimate family lives of lions, cheetahs, hyenas and leopards of the Maasai Mara and Greater Kruger National Park, while Yellow Bear Studios’ show Does It Fart? explores science for kids.

Outback Opal Hunters travels to some of Australia’s harshest landscapes

Other science series on the slate include The Curious Mind from Ruckus Media, which explores artificial intelligence, while fans of slow TV are being offered The Kimberley Cruise from Mint Pictures, which follows the 1,001 nautical miles of rugged coastline between Broome and Darwin in Australia’s north-west.

Returning titles include the seventh season of Discovery reality hit Outback Truckers, from Prospero Productions, as well as the prodco’s Outback Opal Hunters, which follows crews of opal miners on their mission to unearth a fortune in some of Australia’s harshest and most remote landscapes.
