Federation meets The Twelve

The Twelve has been created by Bert Van Dael and Sanne Nuyen

French producer and distributor Federation Entertainment has picked up a forthcoming psychological thriller from Belgium for international distribution ahead of next week’s Mipcom.

The Twelve is being produced by Eyeworks in Belgium for Local broadcaster VRT’s Eén channel.

The 10×52’ series explores the innate prejudice of jury members and the difficult task of deciding the fate of a woman accused of a double murder.

Created by Bert Van Dael and Sanne Nuyens (Clan, Hotel Beau Séjour) and directed by Wouter Bouvijn (Crossroads, Missing Persons Unit), the series is currently in production and will be released at the end of next year.

Federation now holds worldwide rights and will launch the show at Mipcom as part of its line-up, which also includes dramas Spitfire, Secret Enemies, Bordertown and The Break.
