Federation, Drama Team dig up The Grave

Omri Givon’s Canneseries winner When Heroes Fly

French distributor Federation Entertainment and Israeli label Drama Team are coproducing a mystery scripted series from the writer behind When Heroes Fly.

The Grave (8×60′) is written and directed by Omri Givon, who will work with Drama Team duo Chaim Sharir and Mosh Danon on the series.

The show starts shooting in Israel from November and tells the story of a man who becomes increasingly desperate to cheat death after losing his wife.

Paris- and LA-based Federation, which has been behind dramas including Netflix’s Marseille, will hold global rights.

Givon won the Best Series award at Canneseries last week for his scripted show When Heroes Fly and was also behind the thriller Hostages. It was also coproduced by Chaim Sharir and Federation, which sold the rights worldwide.

Drama Team, run by veteran Israeli producers Sharir and Danon, is a joint venture between local prodcos Yezirah and Inosan.
