Facebook partners ProSieben

The Facebook content will accompany shows including The Voice of Germany

Facebook’s video service Facebook Watch is partnering with German TV channel operator ProSiebenSat.1  on a range of new content.

Under the deal with ProSiebenSat.1, the German network operator will provide digital-first content including pre-shows, after-shows, interviews and spin-offs to Facebook Watch.

Content will surround popular German shows like The Voice of Germany, Germany’s Next Top Model and Late Night Berlin.

Earlier this week a similar deal with Australian prodco Seven Studios was agreed for a slate of new original digital series, while Australian sporting codes NRL, AFL and Cricket Australia will showcase a range of sports content including match highlights and live original programmes.

The International Cricket Council will also make match previews, highlights and insider commentary from every ICC Cricket World Cup match available on Facebook Watch.
