Eyeworks crowns former King World exec

Dutch production group Eyeworks has recruited former King World exec Ted Bookstaver as the new international sales director for its LA-based distribution division.

Bookstaver will oversee international scripted drama and non-fiction programme sales, in partnership with the company’s Amsterdam based distribution arm.

He will work together with senior VP of international sales Dorothy Crompton, who joined Eyeworks Distribution earlier this year from Rive Gauche Entertainment, and the division’s MD Ross Weintraub.

Bookstaver recently completed an MBA and prior to that, headed sales for King World International Productions, CBS’s one-time global format distribution and production arm. He handled properties including Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, The Oprah Winfrey Show and America’s Next Top Model.
