Ex-Shankly exec follows Ridgeline

The international distribution firm launched this month by former Shankly Productions sales chief Matthew Mancinelli has acquired a 3D rock concert film.

Hollywood-based Mance Media has picked up Parlotones: Dragonflies & Astronauts from Ridgeline Entertainment, set up by Deadliest Catch producer Doug Stanley.

The film captures US rockers The Parlotones performing a theatre concert in South Africa and was originally broadcast on DirecTV’s n3D channel last July.

Mancinelli launched producer/distributor Mance at Natpe this month having left fellow LA television firm Shankly, where he was senior VP of worldwide distribution at global sales arm Shankly International Distribution.

Shankly brought in Trillian Entertainment sales chief Lee Ettinger to replace him in December.
