Evolution feels Luckey with hire

MGM-owned US producer Evolution Media has hired a former Go Go Luckey Entertainment executive as its exec VP of programming.

Tina Gazzerro-Clapp will provide oversight of Evolution’s productions and will be charged with shepherding the firm’s foray into documentaries, including series, features and shortform content.

Gazzerro-Clapp most recently served as the showrunner for Evolution’s Bug Juice reboot for Disney Channel after having worked on the original series. Prior to that, she was president of non-fiction programming at Go Go Luckey, where she oversaw all non-fiction and digital development as well as productions.

Gazzerro-Clapp’s non-scripted TV career spans 20 years, including roles across editing, directing and producing. Her credits include Project Greenlight, Joe Millionaire, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and Raising McCain.

MGM acquired Evolution, which also produces Vanderpump Rules for Bravo and Botched for E!, in July last year.
