The interactive video, spun off from forthcoming show Berlin Station, will be available across web browsers and, for the first time, on mobile devices.

Viewers can access the interactive content via Berlin Station’s website (www.BerlinStation.com) ahead of the thriller’s premiere in October.

Berlin Station is produced by Anonymous Content and Paramount TV, and written by Olen Steinhauer. The 360-degree content has been created with technology agencies Ayzenberg, Wiremax and Scopic.

The extended interactive storylines were developed with the show’s writers. Epix says they will “extend plotlines with an immersive experience that expands with each new episode of the series.”

“We’re tapping the latest technology to create new approaches to storytelling and deeper engagement for fans,” said Mark Greenberg, president and CEO of Epix.

Epix, which is operated as a joint venture by Viacom, Lionsgate and MGM, bolstered its digital efforts earlier this month by poaching NBCUniversal VP of Media Labs Jonathan Dakss to become chief digital officer.
