Free-to-air TVE Clan in Spain and pay TV network BIGGS in Portugal will air the first, 52×11′ season of the 2D animated show, which will launch on ABC3 in Australia this fall.

Aimed at 6-12s, the series follows the high jinks of a thrill-seeking space kid, his feline best friend and an uptight alien as they explore the galaxy together in a homemade space cruiser.

It was developed by animation studio Sticky Pictures in Australia and eOne Family and coproduced with broadcasters ABC3 and Teletoon in Canada.

Monica Candiani, head of international sales at eOne Family, said: “The deals with TVE and BIGGS demonstrate that the fast, funny humour of Winston Steinburger & Sir Dudley Ding Dong translates to audiences around the world.”
