eOne exec takes Fox Italian sales role

Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution has appointed an Entertainment One (eOne) executive as VP of sales for its Italian operation.

Cristina Sala takes on the newly created position of VP of sales for Italy, Italian-speaking Switzerland and Greece for pay TV, SVoD, basic and free TV.

Sala will be based in the company’s newly opened Milan office. She will work closely with president of international television Marion Edwards in strategic sales planning for the aforementioned international territories.

Prior to joining Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, Sala was at eOne in London for six years working as the sales director for digital and linear TV rights for Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Greece and Israel.

Previously, Sala was sales director at Endemol for four years, selling TV rights to major European territories.
