The C21 International Drama Series Pitch Fall 2022 is now open for entries.

The C21 International Drama Series Pitch is open to new scripted drama and comedy drama series that are unseen in the international market and are either seeking commission or finance. C21 and Content London provide a high-profile scenario within which to pitch new shows to the world.

Projects selected will benefit from exposure through as well as occupying a prominent slot at Content London.

  • Producers can submit up to three projects.
  • Projects must have at least one part funding in place.
  • A shortlist of 8 projects will be selected to present a live pitch to delegates at Content London on November 29.
  • The pitch must include as much information as possible, including the rationale for international partnership and exactly what is required at this stage of development. It should be treated as a broadcaster / platform pitch.
  • Mood boards, casting, treatment, mini-pilots or sizzles should be included if available.
  • C21 will profile each of the 8 finalists during the event, with interviews about the projects published online and in the Content London Daily.
  • All 8 finalists will be invited to a networking event during Content London to meet with interested partners.
  • The winning pitch will receive a marketing package through C21Media worth £30,000 to support development and pre-sales promotion of the show.
  • All 8 finalists will be offered a VIP rate ticket at £499 to Content London.
  • Entrants will be notified if they have made the shortlist and if they have been invited to pitch on October 28.

The C21 International Drama Series Pitch provides a high-visibility opportunity for companies aiming to use Content London and its relationship with as a marketing platform to release new series.


  • New scripted drama or comedy drama series suitable for international co-production looking for commission and or finance.
  • Projects must be unseen and not selected for another market within six months before Content London.
  • Projects must have at least one part funding in place.
  • Projects must be from established broadcasters, producers or showrunners.
  • Projects can be suitable for either mainstream networks, global or emerging digital platforms.
  • Both long form or short form scripted series will be considered.
  • All projects entered will need to be available to pitch to conference on 29 November in person.
  • Pitchees will also need to be available for networking and be present at The International Drama Awards during the event between 28 November and 1 December, when the winner will be announced.
