Endemol tops out Lat-Am expansion

Dutch-based format specialist Endemol Entertainment has appointed Peter Langenberg as director of operations across the company's recent Latin American expansion.

Langenberg's role will include managing and providing operational support for Endemol's increased activities in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. Building on Endemol's acquisition of a stake in Argentine joint venture production outfit P&P Endemol earlier this year, the company recently launched similar joint ventures in Brazil and Mexico.

In addition to this, Langenberg will also be involved with the further expansion of Endemol's presence in the region, with initial focus on potential activities in Venezuela and Colombia. He will report to Endemol's ceo Ronald Goes.

Prior to this appointment Langenberg held the post of general manager of programme affairs at Endemol International.
