Endemol Shine NA lands licensing exec

Producer and distributor Endemol Shine North America (ESNA) has appointed a former 20th Century Fox executive as its senior VP of licensing.

Amber Sheppo will be responsible for the development of creative licensing partnerships and live events, and overseeing scripted and non-scripted product development at the company.

She will also work closely with the broader Endemol Shine Group’s licensing team to develop opportunities for the company’s top shows.

Sheppo replaces Tamaya Petteway, who had served as the company’s senior VP of brand and licensing partnerships since June 2015. Petteway has taken up the new role of senior VP of brand partnerships, focusing on expanding ESNA’s partnerships.

Sheppo most recently served as 20th Century Fox’s VP of international licensing, working on international consumer products relating to Fox titles such as The Simpsons and The Devil Wears Prada.

Ben Samek, president and chief operating officer at Endemol Shine North America, said: “Amber will not only be leading all of our licensing development and partnerships here in North America, but she’ll also be working closely with the team at our parent company Endemol Shine Group, looking to create global licensing partnerships across all of our top series.”
