Perrin, the current MD of Shine Networks, will become MD of the newly created Endemol Shine Creative Networks, reporting directly to Endemol Shine group president Tim Hincks.

Iris Boelhouwer, who oversees the creative and format distribution teams at Endemol as MD of creative operations, will leave the newly merged production giant this summer after 20 years with the firm.

The two divisions had already been providing creative and production support to one another’s traveling formats.

The format sales and acquisitions business will be separately managed under global head of format distribution Ana Langenberg, reporting to group commercial officer Boudewijn Beusmans.

Perrin’s responsibilities include managing and coordinating the exchange of ideas, creativity and IP across Endemol Shine’s group of companies around the world, as well as supporting local format adaptations. Her newly merged division will run from the company’s headquarters in Amsterdam.

Perrin first joined Shine in 2009 as creative director at Shine TV, overseeing hit shows including The Biggest Loser for UK commercial broadcaster ITV, before becoming creative director of Shine Network. Prior to that she was head of entertainment commissioning at UK channels operator UKTV.

Langenberg will oversee international sales and acquisitions of scripted and unscripted formats and support the roll out of formats to territories where Endemol Shine has local production bases.

Her team will operate as part of the recently announced combined distribution arm Endemol Shine International, which focuses on finished programming sales.

She first joined Endemol back in 1998 and has worked as senior licensing manager, senior manager of format distribution and then head of format distribution. She played a key role in setting up Endemol affiliates in Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia and helping to establish regional versions of Big Brother, Wipeout and Deal or No Deal.

Boelhouwer first joined Endemol in 1994 and has since worked as executive producer, creative director at Endemol Netherlands and executive director and creative support at Endemol Group among other roles. She was appointed MD of creative operations in 2010.

The news follows the completion of the merger of Endemol, Shine and Core Media at the turn of the year.
