Endemol Shine Iberia fuels Fuego

Endemol Shine Iberia has agreed to co-develop new dramedy series Fuego (Fire) with Argentinian prodco Utópica Media.

The series tells the story of a pop singer who attempts to leave her husband/manager only to be inadvertently sent to a rehabilitation clinic. She decides she must redeem herself and starts teaching people with mental health disorders how to become successful pop stars.

Fuego was created by Carlos Wasserman and will be produced by Endemol Shine Iberia-owned prodco Zeppelin alongside Utópica Media.

Wasserman said: “It’s a big step for Utópica Media to be closing a deal with a big company such as Endemol’s Zeppelin.”
