Endemol Shine adds Brazil sales director

Endemol Shine Group (ESG) has appointed one of its former executives to oversee content and format sales for its Brazilian division.

Renato Martinez has been named content sales director at Endemol Shine Brazil, with a remit that includes overseeing content and format sales across linear and non-linear platforms.

He previously worked for the company as marketing and sales director until 2015, and has also had stints with Viacom and Brazil’s RedeTV!.

Endemol Shine Brazil has also added Nelson Rosa to work in commercial licensing on shows such as MasterChef Brazil, while Rubens Ajzenberg has been appointed to work across brand solutions, with a focus on the company’s branded content projects.

Juliana Algañaraz, MD of Endemol Shine Brazil, said: “The expertise and knowledge they bring with them will be a great addition to the company as our commercial output across our programming, brand licensing and branded content continues to grow.”

Earlier this year Brazilian broadcaster SBT ordered a local version of ESG gameshow format Deal or No Deal.
