Endemol exposed in Latin America

As NATPE winds down MTV Latin America has confirmed a deal with Endemol International to carry the US version of the Big Brother prodco’s high-tech dating show Exposed.

Using a new technology, layered voice analysis (LVA), to determine who is being economical with the truth and who isn’t, while on a first date, the format was originally produced for MTV in the US.

Furthermore, the Latino network also announced it will locally produce eight original episodes of the Exposed format, and that it will air further seasons of another of its dating gameshows Next.

MTV Networks Latin America’s VP of programming Jacqueline Cantore said she was “always looking for innovative original content and formats that we can customize for our viewers in the region.”

Exposed, she continued, “is a unique format that features embarrassing, surprising and funny situations that we are sure will be a hit with our young audience.”

The show will premier Monday through Friday on MTV Latin America beginning in March 2007 with the locally produced episodes to debut two months later.
